My Secrets To Earning A Six Figure Income Online
One of the main contributing factors to my 6-figure income today is, well, simply because I’m just luckier… lucky that I grasp the main principle of building a profitable internet business way before I get discouraged and give up, like 98% of aspiring marketers.
What’s this principle you ask? It is none other than what I’m sharing with you guys on this blog – TRAFFIC.
(I’ll also reveal the single-most powerful tool I use to flood my sites with hungry visitors – more on that near the end of this post).
Before you guys go “WHAT?! That’s IT Craig?“, let me give you a quick analysis of what I’ve derived from my years of experience running my internet business.
Well first of all, let’s say you have the greatest product to sell, but the bottom line is, you will still need traffic to your site or it just won’t sell. Make sense?
If you have ever purchased any products from any internet “gurus” that teach you how to make big bucks online, you will realize that most of the products doesn’t deliver as promised.
Humor me and just think about all the master resell rights, private label rights or so called “instant internet business package” you have bought. What good are they if you have no traffic?
I’m not saying that all these products are scams. Heck, I’ve even bought a couple of those myself when I started my internet business. What they teach definitely works, but you probably need to have a massive mailing list on hand. And to build up a massive mailing list, again it boils down to traffic.
Now, do you see the importance of traffic? Traffic is the life of every internet business!
I’m lucky to have learnt that early on in the game and that has largely contributed to my success today.
The Big Problem
I hope I have highlighted the importance of traffic and how it can affect your earnings online. So how can you skyrocket your website traffic?
One of the biggest problems I realize that most people make is they do not leverage enough on bookmaking sites, video sites and article directories. If you are sharp enough to take notice, most of the sites that appear on top of the search engine results are from EzineArticles, Hub Pages or any other bookmaking, video and article directories. Notice the results are all coming from EzineArticles, E-articles and Propeller? These are all FREE sites that you can leverage on to drive MASSIVE amount of traffic to your site. Not only do these sites have high volume of traffic on its own that you can “piggy back” on, search engines also tend to rank them very high up in the search results. Those alone, are two powerful reasons that you should use them to get traffic.

EzineArticles – EzineArticles probably needs no introduction. Arguably one of the most popular article directories on the internet and also one of Google’s favorite. Ezine has been around for 7 years and many big players in the internet marketing circle have benefitted tremendously from this wonderful directory. If you haven’t tried this one out yet, I recommend you to start using it.

Associated Contents – Another popular article directory. Not only can you bring in loads of traffic from this baby, you can also earn some royalty income from your articles. Like EzineArticles, Associated Contents also has a team to review articles submitted and only articles that have good content will be approved.

Hub Pages - Not too many people have discovered this hidden gem, yet. Hub Pages works like a mini blog and all your content will be posted onto your own page within Hub Pages. You can also choose to monetize your page with Adsense or earn royalties from your articles. This is recommended for the residual income that it can bring.

Tumblr – Bet most of you haven’t heard of this one. Tumblr is yet another mini blog site which you can post articles, videos and pictures to your personal tumblr blog. It has a very simple and hassle free user interface which I love. Take a look at the traffic stats below and you observe an upward trend in the amount of volume. Watch out for this site.

Webs – Webs is also a blogging platform but one which offers few other extra features. Besides a blog, you can also set up a “webstore” like they call it, and also your own forum. Webs has many useful function that you can use to drive traffic to your main site and also, notice the upward trend in the amount of traffic? That’s a good sign that the site is rising in popularity.

Stumble Upon - A very popular bookmaking site that allows user to “stumble” on sites of their interest. Because users are allowed to choose the category for what sites they want to “stumble”, that implies the traffic you get from this site will be targeted traffic. Twitter – Not exactly a bookmaking site but more of a micro-blog. It is so powerful that even politicians are now using it to market their campaign. Propeller - Propeller is one of the top few social bookmarking sites. One cool thing about Propeller is that it is linked with Twitter, which means two way traffic. It also has an easy interface for the non-techies. If your story is interesting enough to hit the front page of Propeller, you can easily get more than 10k page views for that single article.

Youtube - 3rd most visited site on the web. Do I have to explain more why you should use this site to generate traffic to your site? You can post promotional videos, how-to videos to satisfy the information-hungry internet users. To push your video higher up the ranking on Youtube, you can use the “piggy back” method. Find a video that is relevent to yours and is rising in popularity. Post your video as a video reponse and watch you video soar in popularity. Oh, remember to do a backlink to your site!

Multiply - Another great video site. Although the traffic is not as impressive as Youtube, Multiply is nevertheless still a great site to generate traffic. Not only can you post videos, you can also upload pictures or share you site and watch your traffic, well, multiply!

These are only a small handful of sites that are available. Imagine how much difference it can make if you just post one article or video with a backlink to your page on any one of these sites?
Instant Solution To Bringing In Hordes Of Traffic
Let’s say you decided to write an article now and post it to EzineArticles. For that single article, you get a conservative figure of 5 readers who click on the backlinks and land on your page per day, that will be an average of 150 or more visitors per month.
Not really a big amount of traffic isn’t it?
Well, if you decided to take the article and post it to 10 article directories, you will get an average of 50 visitors to your site per day. That will be a total of 1500 or more visitors per month.
You might not consider that a massive amount of traffic but think again, these are all traffic that you can generate just from writing one article. Think about how much traffic you can generate if you wrote a total of 10 articles. This not only applies to articles but videos as well.
To bring in even more traffic, you can use bookmaking sites to bookmark your videos or articles to maximize the exposure. Now, that is where your traffic can really skyrocket!

I have personally done all of what I have mentioned above – article writing, video posting and bookmarking. Writing articles and creating videos is a breeze to me. But when I recounted on the process of submitting articles and videos and bookmaking them, I realize there is a big downside to it.

Dan there are lots of programs which scrape email addresses from web pages, that’s exactly what spammers do so don’t. Go to the website and do some research, you’ll get better results from your mailings in any case.

Seldom do I take time to write a comment on the many blogs and social sites I read, I have been an onliner for some 10 years and you have actually layed out one of the best bit of info bites that can be as useful ,as I have seen for the biggest question of all to webmasters, how to get traffic.
The only other thing I could add is Craigslist.com, come on Craig, it’s your namesake.
My last comment is that one of the highest search subjects right now is ‘people searches’. People searches are one of the biggest revenue attractions right now and could help many a webmaster to get in on the run.

After having bought many products from you and through your links. I can not believe you took away the recommendation I made for your crowd. Honestly I rated and respected you more than what you did. Can someone provide any testimonials of profit using SENuke rather than just “it works great” or “it saves me time”? It’s obvious the tool will save time which is great and I don’t doubt that it does, but I’ve not seen a single review where people have said it has helped them to make any money.

Yes, I just checked – the SENuke old price link still works.
That was 2 months ago, and I can’t recall the name of the ‘other’ product that Geo advertised blatantly (shamelessly using his affliate link) on my blog, though I did see the sales page then, but wasn’t too impressed. I guess you get what you pay for.
I didn’t set out to do product reviews and comparison, so it may not be a fair statement for the ‘other’ product.
However what I can share is I’ve been using SENuke, and the results are encouraging. I remembered there’s once I created Web 2.0 sites using SENuke at 11.30 am, and when I checked in Google at 3.30 pm, one of them appeared on the first page of Google, for that EXACT target keyword (out of 2,400,000 results). So that’s 4 hours to get first page ranking (or sooner if I had checked earlier) after I published it using SENuke.
Sorry I didn’t capture screenshot proof – I wish I had – as I was busy promoting affiliate products using SENuke. Some quantitative proof would be good here, so I’ll try to document some of the successes I have with SENuke and share them here.

Now for anyone out there who can not afford the $297 product, there is still another completely free alternative
called “Tubemogul” http://www.tubemogul.com/
This one is free and likewise you can also get free Article submitters, free podcasts submitters and free RSS feeders. Just use google to search people, Google is truly your friend.

You’ve got a good point there.
The $297 product you mentioned might not have been what Geo mentioned, as he claims it is “much cheaper”. $297 is a big sum for some people as a one time cost.
Anyway I took a look, and can see it has some useful features, though I can’t really tell exactly what it does just by looking at the sales page.
Free alternatives are well and good for those with tight budget, but as with most things free, there are limitations and support issues.
SEnuke may take some time to get used to, but for those who are quick learners and WILL take action, you can easily earn back your monthly fees before the first month is up.
All you need is to do keyword research (within SEnuke, which even tells you whether the keyword you chose is worth working on), find the right affiliate product to promote (also within SEnuke), build Web2.0 sites using SEnuke, social bookmark/RSS them, and repeat for next product. In some cases you don’t even need to have a website, or buy a domain name for that purpose.
The cool thing is SEnuke has even solved the captcha problem (I used to hate this part, where I need to sit in front of my screen, and fill captchas as they come up). Now, SEnuke will auto-fill the captcha for you – it’s amazing to look at the screen and see your submissions being done – truly hands-free.
If you have the budget (and time), go get both so you can compare and decide (SEnuke has a 7-day fully-functional free trial).
