Are You Seeing Light At The End Of Your Internet Marketing Tunnel?
I have mixed feelings when I read the nearly 30 responses to my previous blog post “Cold Hard Facts On Internet Marketing You May Not Like To Hear“.
I know many of you have had similar experience when trying out Internet marketing. And many of you are frustrated, disappointed, disillusioned or simply on the verge of giving up.
I can fully understand why, because I went through the same “dark ages” myself many years back.
There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, and yours might just be at the next bend.
Some of you rightly pointed out that too many “aspiring marketers” jump straight into the IM (Internet marketing) or “make money online” niche. There’s little chance you can compete with the established gurus in the IM niche, who spent years building up their online reputation and tens of thousands of subscribers.
My advice has always been to go into non-IM niche, where there is less competition and so much easier to see results in order to gain confidence.
There are many people I know who made much more money than the gurus selling IM products, and they are in all kinds of niches you can possibly imagine.
Most of my income comes from selling all kinds of non-IM products like diving equipment, singing courses, software, cameras, even a special kind of toothpaste.
I estimate that 90% of my online income come from promoting these products, while the remaining 10% is from IM niche.
So if you invest in IM products I recommend from time to time, I do get compensated, but I don’t really need it because it forms a very small part of my overall income.
I’m saying this not to cover my ass from the FTC ruling (which says you need to disclose that you will be compensated when someone clicks on your affiliate link to buy something).
I’m saying this so that you’ll understand when I recommend something, it’s usually because I feel it’s something that can really benefit you and my subscribers.
Many of my subscribers also wrote to me offering to pay me for mentoring. As much as I would like to, I feel it will be a drain on my time and health (I do get emotionally affected when reading stories of people in desperate situations).

I have been selling car and house ariels for quite some time now, it is so much eaiser than “Make Money Online” products.
I am just starting to make my own e-book “Recipes 4 Ten” , if you ask me its the only way to go with your own product!
Yes, I tried the “Make Money” products without having much luck, like you said the Guru´s have the market stiched up.

I am currently learning how to build an online business with Alex Jeffreys. Yes, our focus is on the IM niche but the lessons learned can be applied to any niche. I already have several ideas about other niches.
Hopefully I am coming around the last been and will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel.
